How to use Insights to manage your money

Insights is a powerful free tool built into our app and online banking. You can use Insights to create and manage your budget, set goals, and track daily spending. Here’s how.

Using Insights

How to access Insights

First you'll need to sign in to the mobile app. Then click on the three horizontal lines on the top left of the screen.

Click on Insights.


This is the Insights dashboard. You can track your spending, set up and view your budgets, and configure goals.

How to link accounts

To link other financial accounts to the Insights tool, click on the three lines on the top left of the screen.

Select "Link Account" from the menu.



Find the institution you wish to link by using the search bar. You’ll need to enter the sign-in information for the other account to complete the process.

How to set goals

To set a goal scroll to the bottom of the Insights dashboard.

To set a new goal, click on the + icon on the bottom right and select new goal.

From here you can select from a variety of popular goals or create a customized one of your own.

How to use Insights on desktop

Step 1:

To access Insights, simply sign in to online banking. In the blue bar on the left side of the screen click on Insights. This will bring up several clickable options.

To leave the dashboard and enter the Insights tool, click on any of the sub-menu options.

Step 2:

To link an account, click on the three dots in the yellow menu bar on top of your screen and then select link account.

Step 3:

To complete the process to link an external account, search for your bank and sign in with that account’s login information.

Step 4:

To set a goal, click on the goals button in the yellow bar on top of your screen and then select add goal in the bottom right.

Step 5:

You can now select between a variety of preset goals and even create your own custom savings goal.
