$15 MM line of credit

  • A Midwest grain elevator and farm supply store needed financing quickly to expand its main facility in anticipation of demand. In addition to a $15 million line of credit, we secured a $7.5 million real estate note, and $500,000 toward future capital expenditures.

Alternative agriculture venture

  • Growth often requires change, and flexibility. When a traditional farming operation sought us out to advise on diversification of production enterprises, we lined up a $3.9 million line of credit, a $1.5 million equipment lease, and $700,000 for investments.

$2.5 MM for livestock accommodations

  • Hogs can fill a building quickly, so when a growing hog operation needed credit to expand, we presented a fast finance package which included a $1.7 million FSA-guaranteed note on the facilities with $600,000 for expansion, a $150,000 note for equipment, and a $100,000 line of credit.

Jessica knows the banking needs of farmers from both sides of the fence. In addition to her 10+ years as a food and agribusinesses banker, she is an experienced farmer and part owner of a family-owned and -operated grain elevator and feed mill. Jessica earned her agriculture degree from Purdue University, is a graduate of the Indiana AgrIInstitute’s Agriculture Leadership Program, and is a member of the Agribusiness Council of Indiana. In the time she has left, Jessica volunteers with youth agriculture and leadership organizations.

Zach Allen, Senior Relationship Manager

Zach Allen joined First Financial Bank as a Food and Agribusiness Relationship Manager in 2021. He has over 15 years of banking, lending, and credit experience with a special focus in commercial agriculture. Zach is native to West Central Indiana, a Purdue graduate, and grew up with a strong affiliation to production agriculture and agricultural lending.

Through his career and education, Zach has obtained expertise and relationships in both production agriculture as well as processing. He currently sits on the board of advisors for Indiana Dairy Producers and is the Treasurer for the Light for Levi Foundation, a charity dedicated to helping victims of traumatic brain injuries. Zach’s personal time is spent coaching youth sports and spending time with family.

With over 14 years of banking experience and a proven track record with Central Indiana businesses, Dee Lindsay has become an expert in helping local businesses grow and realize their financial goals. She is excited to join the Food & Agribusiness team and expand her scope nationwide. She focuses on the processing and manufacturing of agricultural commodities, inputs, and food products. She provides businesses with sound financial advice, advising them on their capital needs and overall financial picture.

Dee grew up in Northwest Indiana with a family background in agriculture supply and services. Dee maintains active involvement in several community organizations, and is part of Indiana AgrIInstitute’s Agriculture Leadership Program. Dee received her education from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.

Jade started her career in the financial industry in 2019 and joined First Financial in early 2023. Native to Southwest Ohio, Jade grew up on a crop and livestock production farm. Her experience on her family farm led Jade to obtaining her agriculture degree from Wilmington College. She applies this background and knowledge daily as she serves her clients, providing thoughtful lending and banking solutions.

Jade serves as a trustee on her county Farm Bureau board and stays active in various community organizations. Jade enjoys spending time with her family, helping on their farm when she’s not on yours.

Marshall's 6+ year agricultural lending career and upbringing on a Northeast Indiana dairy farm provide broad mix of experiences to draw upon when providing solutions and feedback. Prior to joining First Financial Bank in 2023, Marshall spent time in loan originations and credit underwriting roles developing expertise in a variety of food and agribusiness sectors within the Farm Credit System. Marshall studied Agribusiness at Purdue University.
